AI Segmentation

AI Segmentation turns imagery into vector polygons in QGIS. Click one object to get its outline, or name what you want, such as "buildings", "solar panels" or "trees", and get every match across an area.

Two modes

ModeHowWhere it runsCounter
Semi-AutoClick an object, get its outlineOn your computerNone, free
AutomaticName an object, get every match in a drawn zoneOn TerraLab servers, no GPU neededkm² and object detections

Use it

  1. Pick the imagery layer and draw the zone on the map. The panel shows its size in km² before anything runs.
  2. Type a word like building, tree or car, or pick one from the Library. Draw an example on the map when the object is unusual.
  3. Keep what you need with the confidence and size filters, correct the rest, then export one vector layer with its attribute table.

Free allowance and Pro

Every month: 1.5 km² of Automatic detection and 20 object detections, no card. Semi-Auto has no counter. Pro covers larger areas with a 7-day free trial; prices are on the pricing page.
