TerraLab SAS (SIREN: 104 501 861, RCS Paris), with registered office at 173 rue de Courcelles, 75017 Paris, France, is the data controller for your personal data. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at yvann.barbot@terra-lab.ai.
We collect the following categories of personal data depending on how you interact with our services:
Account Data
Email address, collected when you create an account via magic link authentication.
Payment Data
Payment processing is handled entirely by our payment processor. We never store or access your credit card details.
Plugin Usage Data
For our cloud plugin AI Edit, the image area you select, your prompt and any reference images you provide are sent to our processing infrastructure for AI analysis. This AI analysis may be performed on infrastructure located outside the European Union. The inputs, generated output and reference images are stored on secure infrastructure located in the European Union for the lifetime of your account, so we can offer generation history, provide support and improve service quality. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us. For AI Edit, we also store the geographic location and extent of the area you select, its coordinate reference system, and which basemap is in use, so we can provide georeferencing, offer generation history, and improve the service. For AI Segmentation, the interactive click-to-segment mode runs entirely on your machine: your imagery, prompts, and clicks are processed locally and never leave it. The automatic detection mode (the free cloud trial and AI Segmentation Pro) sends tiles of the imagery zone you select, the object description you type and any examples you draw to our servers so we can run the detection and return the results to the plugin; this processing takes place on our infrastructure in the European Union. Those processed tiles and detection metadata (such as the resulting detection masks) may be retained on secure infrastructure in the European Union for the lifetime of your account so we can operate the service, prevent abuse, verify billing and improve detection quality, and your usage and quota are associated with your account. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us. Outside the automatic detection mode, the plugin only sends license checks (if you have an account) and the diagnostic metrics described next. For all plugins, by default we collect diagnostic and usage metrics such as generation or segmentation duration, error codes, resolution settings, operating system, QGIS version, and which plugin features you use. These metrics are linked to your account so we can debug the issues you run into and improve the plugins for you; they contain no geospatial data or project content. We process them under our legitimate interest in reliability and product improvement, and you can turn them off at any time from the plugin settings (telemetry toggle).
Subscription Data
Activation key, subscription status, usage count per billing period, and product information.
Analytics Data (with consent)
With your consent, we collect website usage data including page views, click interactions, and session recordings on product and account pages. You can decline analytics cookies at any time.
Error Tracking
We use error tracking tools to automatically capture application errors and improve service reliability. This is processed under our legitimate interest in maintaining service quality.
Plugin Registration
When you register a free plugin, we collect your email address to provide support and updates.
