TerraLab in ChatGPT

The TerraLab app gets map data ready for QGIS from a conversation: open data extracts such as buildings and roads, file conversion, coordinates and CRS, address lists, elevation and contour lines, and French parcels. Results come back on a map with files to download.

How to add it

In ChatGPT, open Plugins and search for TerraLab. No TerraLab account is needed. In ChatGPT Business and Enterprise workspaces, an admin first enables it under Admin > Plugins.

Limits

Extracts cover up to 200 km², depending on the layer.
Files up to 50 MB, lists up to 100 addresses.
Download links last 24 hours.

Data sources

OpenStreetMap, Overture Maps, Copernicus DEM, ESA WorldCover / Copernicus Sentinel-2 imagery, and open data from IGN and DGFiP.

Accuracy

Results are approximate. Do not use them for navigation, surveying or legal boundaries.
