TerraLab

TerraLab Manifesto

Spatial intelligence, made accessible.

Geospatial has gone through two revolutions. The first was digital cartography: from paper to pixel. The second was satellite and drone data: observing the world more often, more precisely, at new scales.

The third is happening now. AI is moving from the lab to the field. But for most geospatial professionals, it remains out of reach: locked behind expensive licenses, complex tools, or workflows that require data science skills they don't have. Meanwhile, the people who actually map the real world every day are still tracing by hand.

We started TerraLab to change that. Right now, we build AI tools that plug directly into QGIS and turn imagery into usable geospatial data in clicks, not hours. No ML expertise required, no setup, no separate software.

But we think the map of the future is not flat. A territory is terrain, volumes, flows. To truly understand it, to simulate and decide, you need a representation that resembles reality. That is where we are heading: from AI-powered digitization today to 3D simulation and digital twins tomorrow. We have been building 3D engines for over fifteen years. This is not a pivot. It is the next step.

From pixels to meaning. From meaning to simulation. One step at a time.
